Vintage Pendant Lights

This collection includes floral pendant lights, ribbed glass domes, amber glass shades, lantern pendants, industrial cone lights, milk glass globes, and brass or antique copper designs. Choose floral or colored glass for a decorative focal point, or a simple dome or cone shade for a more understated vintage look.

Consider the room size, ceiling height, furniture dimensions, and whether you are installing one pendant or a group. A compact shade under 14 inches wide can suit a bedside area, hallway, or small breakfast table, while a larger pendant or multiple-light arrangement can provide better scale over a dining table or kitchen island.

Above a dining table or kitchen island, the bottom of the pendant is commonly positioned about 30 to 36 inches above the surface. In an open walkway, leave enough clearance for people to pass comfortably. Many designs have adjustable cords or chains, but the available hanging length varies by product.

Some compact dome, cone, globe, and mini pendant lights can work with standard ceilings when the cord or chain is shortened. For a low ceiling, check the fixture height and minimum hanging length before ordering. A flush mount or semi-flush ceiling light may be more suitable when vertical clearance is very limited.
